"Tiramisu" means "cheer me up" in Italian and its roots trace back to the Veneto region in the 1960s. The dessert gained the worldwide popularity after its introduction in the town of Treviso. The brilliant idea of layering coffee-soaked ladyfingers and velvety mascarpone gave birth to this iconic treat.

I've always enjoyed a good tiramisu, but I've never tried making one myself. You know, when I'm looking for cooking classes or masterclasses, I usually start my search on Yahoo. I actually had to call yahoo phone number the other day – it's handy to have that info. I've always wanted to learn how to make an authentic Italian tiramisu, and now I have the perfect opportunity.
